About Us
Our market is small, yet mighty! You will see us on the front lawn of the Northeast Community Center every Monday, rain or shine! It is important to note, however, sometimes it is too hot or smoky (pesky forest fires), and we do cancel the market on those days. For up to date info, follow our Facebook page.
Our mission is to serve the neighborhoods of Northeast Spokane, with quality, affordable products. Most of our farmers accept:
• EBT/SNAP
• WIC
• Senior Nutrition Vouchers
The KERNEL Program
The kid's KERNEL program (Kids Eating Right Nutrition and Exercise for Life) is a fun activity for children to learn about their natural world. Every week there is something new for them to do, like composting or growing plants to take home. When they finish, we give them $2 in KERNEL Cash, that they can use to purchase fresh produce or plant starts from one of our vendors.

In 2024, we will hold 5 Street Fairs in conjunction with our markets. We partner with the Northeast Community Center, The ZONE, The NEST Coalition, Communities in Schools, and more to bring you these family events with:
